"Building future careers for youth of this nation"

A Message from our Youth Fashion Ambassador

My journey to Miss Universe Australia 2009 commenced as a 15 yr teenager in Townsville.

Along the way I was very fortunate to have been able to learn so many new life skills through participating in the $100,000 Opal Fashion Bash first an entrant, then later as both a compeer & video presenter.

I am honoured to have now been invited to become this countries first youth ambassador.

I encourage all young Australians aged between 5 -27 years, male or female, to participate in this very future rewarding youth fashion project. I look forward to crowning the chosen winners.

A special Message from Gemma Scott, Cannonvale

My journey to become an international model first commenced as a 14 yr old when I was judged most photogenic model at 2005 Opal Fashion Bash.

Winning the Voters Choice Awards in the same year has also taught me that fundraising for a good cause can be very future rewarding.

I am honoured to endorse the staging of this country’s inaugural 2010 Miss Fashion Australia Awards & I encourage all young Australian’s to participate in them.

I am sure the fashion ambassadors whom are chosen will gain so much future reward from this experience.

Always remember effort will bring rewards. Good luck.

A special Message from Kendal Schuler, Cairns

My journey to become an international model commenced at the 2007 Opal Fashion Bash.

I gained so much self confidence & life skills from participating in the many professional training classes & workshops from learning how to better present oneself on stage, how to exercise & eat healthy, grooming as well as how to dress & speak punctual during a job interview.

These life skills training classes are very essential in preparing all young Australians to commence their journey to success in life.

I am most grateful to have been given this opportunity to endorse these 2010 Miss Fashion Australia Awards & encourage all young Australians whom would like to improve their confidence & public appearance to enter them.

The experience & new friendships you all gain will most certainly be of some benefit in the future.
