A Message from Miss Universe  2008 Dayana Mendoza

My life, as I knew it completely changed this summer when I was crowned Miss Universe 2008. Just one day from my win I flew from Vietnam to New York and have not stopped travelling since.  I have already visited several countries  and will continue to travel throughout my year, advancing humanitarian projects, attending special events and meeting an array of incredible people. Participating in Miss Universe and representing my home country Venezuela was a great gift to me I hope each contestant feels a similar sense of appreciating, accomplishment and pride.

Kimberley Busteed’s journey to Miss Universe Australia commenced at the 2006 $100,000 Fashion Bash Townsville when she was judged best Surf Swim Wear Model it then took her all the way to winning the 2007 Miss Universe Australia title in Perth.

Kimberley’s journey climaxed when she represented Australia in the 2007 Miss Universe Pageant in Mexico City. Today Kimberley’s career is blooming as she is in big demand attending functions and special events all over this country, She recently was the Face of 2008 Magic Millions Racing Carnival on the Gold Coast. What a truly amazing journey this has been for such a wonderful ambassador for this country.
